Massage
Integrated Therapeutic Massage
A therapeutic massage is designed to help alleviate pain and promote healing in the body.
-
A total body massage delivers medium pressure focusing on the tension in the muscles and tissue within the body. This basic therapy will help you relax and recover from physical stress's effects on life and help prevent injuries.
Integrated Sports Massage
The recovery you need after putting in the work.
-
A sports massage is similar to a deep tissue massage in that it is more focused. Firm pressure is used in both massages, focusing on the muscles and tissue deep within the body. However, a sports massage can be more targeted to a specific area of the body.
Adding elements of sports massage to your next session can enhance flexibility, help you recover from competition, and help prevent injuries from happening. If you have a sports-related injury or want to take your game to the next level, then a sports massage may be just what you need.
Standard benefits:
- Reduce your risk of injury
- Improve your performance
- Decrease post-workout soreness
Integrated Deep Tissue Massage
Your body might need more pressure for relaxation.
-
A deep tissue massage is similar to a Swedish massage in that the therapist applies slow, firm pressure to relieve muscle tension. The protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints is the focus of the research. It is possible to get your body back to a state of optimal health by applying pressure directly on the tissues. For people with chronic lower back pain, headaches, neck and shoulder tension, and just about any other ache or pain that is caused by muscle tension, this type of massage is great. It can be an effective treatment for people who want to lose weight since it helps them burn off excess fat and excrete toxins.
Standard benefits:
- Alleviate muscle tension and chronic pain.
- Improve blood circulation.
Emotional benefits:
- Feel more relaxed after a long day at work.
- Promote healing from injuries and illness.
Integrated Swedish Massage
Consistently delivering relaxation for centuries.
-
The Swedish type massage is the most popular type of massage therapy. The therapist uses a variety of techniques, including circular pressure applied to the hands and palms, firm kneading, light tapping, and more. It is beneficial for people of all ages and fitness levels.
A Swedish massage uses gliding strokes in the direction of the blood returning to the heart to relax the whole body. Swedish massage is more than just relaxation. Oxygen in the blood can be raised to improve circulation and flexibility. Swedish massage is a great way to end the workweek or relax after a long day. Sharing your feedback with your therapist is the most critical aspect of a Swedish massage. How you are feeling should be your focus. Are you less tense? More enthusiastic? Is your tension down? Is it higher?
Integrated Prenatal Massage
Prenatal massage can be a wonderful way for pregnant women to take care of themselves during this special time.
-
A prenatal massage is a type of massage therapy that is specifically designed for pregnant women. It can help to alleviate the physical and emotional discomforts that are commonly associated with pregnancy. During the massage, the therapist will use techniques that are safe and comfortable for the pregnant woman's body.
A prenatal massage can help to reduce muscle tension, ease back pain and joint stiffness, relieve headaches, and reduce swelling in the hands and feet. It can also help to reduce stress and promote relaxation, which can be beneficial for both the mother and the developing baby. Prenatal massage is generally safe for most pregnant women, but it is important to discuss any concerns or medical conditions with the therapist before the session begins.
Prenatal massage can be a wonderful way for pregnant women to take care of themselves during this special time. It can help to relieve discomforts and promote overall well-being, allowing expectant mothers to fully enjoy this unique and exciting time in their lives.

Better flexibility may:
• Improve your performance in physical activities
• Decrease your risk of injuries

• Enable your muscles to work most effectively
Stretching also increases blood flow to the muscle. You may learn to enjoy the ritual of stretching before or after hitting the trail, ballet floor, soccer field, or in everyday life.

Many clients are unsure how much they should tip their therapist. We recommend you think of your therapist as you would a waiter in a restaurant. Our studios' therapists love what they do, and your tip may reflect your appreciation for their service. We recommend tipping percentages based on the full price of a regular treatment, rather than the discounted price.

Massage therapy can help with a variety of issues, including reducing stress, relieving pain, improving circulation, and promoting overall relaxation. The frequency of massage appointments depends on your individual needs and preferences, but many people find that scheduling a massage once a month or every few weeks can help them maintain the benefits of therapy.

Some medical conditions may make massage therapy unsafe or require modifications to the massage technique. It's important to speak with your doctor and massage therapist before starting therapy if you have any medical conditions, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or cancer. Your massage therapist can also adjust the massage technique based on your individual needs and preferences.

After your treatment that same day, there are some easy, pleasant things you can do to help prevent some of the next-day soreness:
Be purposeful about your water intake, both before and after your appointment. As mentioned above, hydrated muscles are more flexible. Also, there are some strongly held beliefs that drinking water after treatment can help to flush away the toxins released. Staying hydrated is a good idea, and before or after a session is no different.
Do some gentle stretching that evening, paying special attention to the trouble spots that received the most attention during your treatment.
Take a warm bath, ideally with Epsom salts (1/2 cup to 1 cup for adults), and soak for 20-40 minutes. Epsom salts are an inexpensive and effective way to help your body rid itself of toxins and reduce muscle inflammation. You also get the bonus of absorbing the beneficial magnesium found in Epsom salts through your skin.
As your body becomes accustomed to regular treatments, you'll experience the next-day soreness less frequently, making the experience that much more pleasurable.
